We are pleased to share the good news, we are now in position to offer 100% seating capacity with no physical distancing restrictions. Also reservations for weekend Masses via Eventbrite are no longer required. Masks are voluntary but highly recommended and we will continue with hand sanitization procedures for extra precaution. 

We look forward to welcome you back, to celebrate Mass together as a family of faith and parish community.

Praying the Holy Rosary before each Mass:

30 minutes before all Weekend and Weekday Masses

Mass Times: 

Weekdays: Monday, Wednesday & Friday at 7:00PM - Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday at 9:00AM 

Weekends: Saturday Vigil 5:00PM English. Sunday 8:00AM English (In Portuguese the Second Sunday of the Month) 10:00AM English *Livestream, 12:00PM English, 4:30PM Spanish, El Sembrador for Migrant Workers & 6:30PM English.

Requiem Mass at Holy Martyrs of Japan Cemetery for the Faithful Departed: (During the Winter months the Mass is celebrated at the church)

Requiem Mass at the Cemetery on the First Friday of each month at 11:00am for our Faithful Departed (weather allowing, with the alternative to celebrate the Mass at the Church).

Write the names of your loved ones we’re praying for and note if it’s a special anniversary month for them. You can either drop them off at the parish office or you can give them directly to the Priest .

To Register with the parish, send us an Email with your family information. Offering envelopes are available by request at the parish office.

We would kindly ask that you help us update your contact information, especially your email address by sending an email to the parish office  holymartyrsofjapan@archtoronto.org using your current email address and place in the subject line "Contact Information Update". Be sure to include your name, address and telephone number in the email body. Thank you for your effort and many contributions to our parish community during these most challenging of times.

Church Envelope Box:

Call the parish office to make arrangements to pick up you envelope box. 

Prayers of the Faithful:

If you would like to include a name of a family member that is sick and in need of prayers, please call the parish office or send us an Email requesting your prayers.

If someone in your family recently died, Please call the parish office to request to add the name in the prayers of the Faithful.

Mass Intentions, Memorial Mass, Blessing of Milestone Wedding Anniversary:

To request a Mass, please contact the paris office or send us an Email: holymartyrsofjapan@archtoronto.org 

For Mass Intentions, please provide us the name and date of your Mass intention. A reply with the confirmation of dates will be send. (if the date is not available, we will provide the closest date available). arrangements for your donation can be done at this time.

Confessions Schedule:

Saturday morning 8AM to 8:30AM and 3:30 PM to 4:30PM or by calling the parish office to make an appoinment. 

Sacrament for the Sick:

If you know of anyone who is sick and would like to have communion brought to them or would like the Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick , or simply would like to be included in the prayers of the sick, call the parish office at 905-775-2065

For the Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick  call to make an appoinment with one of our Priests. 

Adoration Chapel:

Monday to Friday 9:30AM to 4:30PM

Adoration and Benediction:

First Friday of the Month 7:30PM to 8:30PM (following the 7:00PM Mass).

Please note during the Lenten Season, Adoration Starts at 6:00pm, Mass at 7:00pm and Stations of the Cross at 7:30pm

Every friday during the season of Lent at 7:30pm (after 7Pm Mass).
